Thank you. Just took a look at it, copied and pasted a couple sentences in there, and it really does work. Very nice find and great share.

    Thanks for sharing this!!

I have never successfully created a video because I always know exactly what I want to say but when I hit the record button, I start tripping up on my words then just go blank altogether. I don't know if it's camera shy or what but this should help.

    Thanks again

Unless you need a professional-quality voice-over for your videos, don't stress over this. In fact, being a "regular" person in your videos is often more effective than a slick, polished delivery. Depends on your target audience, of course, but it's never as bad as you think. We're our own worst critics. And it does get easier with practice.

        So true, John.

As long as the content is of interest to the viewer, the human un-smoothness can actually capture attention.

Another tip: occasionally lean in a little and [stage] whisper to the viewer. They will hear that part the best of all

I used this service a few weeks back. It makes in a heck of a lot easier to read in front of a camera.

    Great finds Terry and Quentin.
Now I can quit using paper when doing a voice-over.
Adjusting speed etc. is totally helpful.

Dumb question but how can you use this free teleprompter when there is no camera on or in the teleprompter. If I'm not mistaken...teleprompters are screens WITHIN an actual camera that allows you to be recorded while looking straight into the actual camera. Presidents do this all the time.

This script just rolls through the information...and your eyes can be off kilter when looking directly into the camera. Am I missing something here?

A teleprompter is totally unrelated to a camera. It's simply a scrolling thing to read. You can then place a camera wherever you think will seem best, depending on your goal in filming the reader of the teleprompter.

As they say, the only dumb question is the one un-asked

Occasionally, I will record a narration and then make slides to fit what I have said. Doing it this way round often makes the narration more 'chatty' and natural as opposed to concentrating half on getting the narration right and half on remembering to move to the next slide or the next animation on a slide. In this instance, this tool will be far better than reading it from a Notepad or Word document.

      Thanks for the share.

Best solution: I use a teleprompter for all my clients. All you have to do is read the script. When the client emsses up all we do is redo that part over and then edit it out in post production. Simple!!! I have one for sale at the moment. Purchased two for a special project and never ended up using the second unit. PM me for details if your interested guys.
