What can I get for a .ning Social Network for Sale?

About a year ago I built a social network on NING.

The web address is mommy2mommy.ning.com

It has about 2500 members, they are all women, all moms

Good marketing potential but I don't want to fool with it anymore.

I am a freelance web content writer.

I built it just as a place to connect with other moms.

I'm thinking about selling it. Any advice or suggestions as to where or how

much it would be worth? It has all the email addresses and full access to

all the moms. The buyer could upkeep it or use it to promote some of their

products or affiliate marketing I guess.???

oh ok, i figured that since it has a lot of traffic and 2500 members, that would count for something?? I figured that was better than someone putting up a website that has zero traffic and trying to sell on it...maybe I don't think correctly...? i'm not an internet marketer. it made sense to me at the time though.

If there is a potential that it will make money, i am sure there is someone out there who will buy it.

Hey, why dont you throw in few ads on the site, maybe try adsense for a week or two and see if it make anything. How many members are active out of 2500? How much traffic do you get monthly? If you have good traffic and active members, you have a good chance that it can be sold.

NONONO.... you were definitely thinking correctly robinana...

Traffic and members are the KEY to any successful website. It's just a simple matter of monetizing that traffic and turn it into 'revenue'.

You see, you are just doing it opposite of the traditional 'internet marketer' mindset, where you come up with a product or a way to make money first, then try to drive traffic to your offer.

You have a great upper hand by having the traffic and members to start with, now you just need to figure out a way to monetize it.

I just saw an article where a woman just sold her 'mommy' related blog for $95,000...

Let me find that article.... I'll update my response once I find it...

        I think this is it...
