Hi,

Here's a story of success that I want to share with you. This link is just forwarded from a friend and since the story is very powerful and maybe great to power up our mind I'm sharing it with you.

    That was inspiring, uplifting and wonderful. Therefore, I should not have shed a single tear over it. All the same, I did. I bet I am not the only one

    Thanks for that, Ross. So many similar stories of so many courageous people kicking similar odds in the teeth are never told. I'm glad theirs is out there, and feel privileged to have heard a little of it.

    The only word I can think of to explain it is 'faith' (with huge buckets of love thrown in) - faith in ourselves or in another person, rather than in a particular deity.

    As the man said, 'You can'. He believed that enough not to go writing his son off when the doctors told him that it was the only way. The world would have been a much poorer place for him if he'd taken them at their word. It makes me wonder how many bright minds there are that are stuck in institutions in bodies that can't communicate the intelligence within.

    That's a sad thought. We've been given abilities and resources that others can only dream of, and we owe it to them as well as ourselves not to see them wasted. To get our talents and our voices out there, because 'we can'.

    We need to have faith in ourselves, and faith in the people that believe in us. Again, Ross, thank you.

      It is so inspiring. With this story, I remembered the teaching of Napoleon Hill about "Burning Desire To Succeed" when the father said "You can" and "There is no impossible".

      Yeah, this makes me stop and think too. I love touching stories because it is fruitful, we will learn something for sure. Isn't it perseverance, sacrifice and love on what you are doing means success? Even in business, this kind of attitude is a big plus.

      Well Tim, all I can say is you must be a tough old piece of grissle, or I'm a sentimental old fool, (yea, I freely admit to it) but I was moved by the video/story. No boo hoo-ing or anything like that, but I did have to wipe a tear.

      That was a good move Tom. I know many of us here are doing something to help these people in different ways. These people sometimes don't need money but appreciation of what they can do. Two thumbs up to them. These kinds of stories is what I really love. Thanks to them, they remind us of what we can do also and that sometimes we don't know or didn't bother to do.

        Being a father too, this kind of story is what we want to share with our children. Love and the motivation to succeed is what I really see in this story. You can do anything just to fulfill the dream of your son.
