Fake Guru Facebook Pages

I was just screwing around on Facebook and typed in search of Frank Kern. There were several returns, but the most liked one has about 1400 fans. That alone makes me skeptical it is actually his, as I think he would have a ton more. The profile pic is of Kern and some overlay text specifically states it is "unofficial". However, all the admin posts are by 'Frank Kern". Written in his laid back style, but it seems too much effort to write like that, if you know what I mean. Then most of the affiliate links from him are tinyurl domains. I know Kern usually posts the whole ugly link and there is a reason he explains why he does that in his materials. Anyway, what really gets me are the replies from fans there, like they are actually interacting with Kern himself.
I would be surprised that the gurus don't care about this. I remember trying to resell a course I got years ago from a big IM guru on eBay. I got a message the next day from the guru's office demanding I show proof I purchased it and was gong to transfer the license properly. It just seems they would be very protective of their name and products. Maybe I am wrong and this really is Kern, but I highly doubt it.
