Laptop with SIM Card Insert

I've been looking at the ASUS eee, but ideally I would like a handset that has an inbuilt SIM Card slot for 3G surfing. Does anyone know if such a device exists as I cannot seem to find any?

Cheers,

Hamish

      Hey Pete,

I am a part owner of a business that sells Optus products. Getting a 3G dongle is not a problem, but they are damn annoying and they stick out.

If there isn't something out there, that's probably the way I will go.

in SA we have a 3G card that goes into your PCMCIA slot. only about half an inch sticks out the side for better reception.

you should be able to get something similar, i suppose ? locally it is supplied by Vodacom, an "extension" of Vodafone.

would it do the job ?
