The benefits of Press Release

I understand the importance of Article Marketing as I do a lot of it myself but with press releases what is the best format - as I appreciate you probably can't do a sales pitch?

    Press Release gives you traffic, visibility, brand also it helps with SEO. Now a days ppls are interested in the news which always looking good.

    You are correct, no sales pitch, so it needs to be written in the correct format which any press release service will help you with.

    they are well worth doing as part of your over all marketing.

    I'm an SEO wonk...check this out:

    1) go to the mothership directly (Google)
    2) type in:
    "your keyword" + site:prlog.org
    3) Look at titles/topics that might be a natural search phrase
    4) Go back directly to Google in a new window/tab
    5) Find which ones are ranking on Page 1 of Google

    6) develop a plan to replicate/match/beat

    Hope this helps motivate you to produce some worth content and publish it ...it works but honestly it is 'transitory' in some regards in comparison to article and video marketing....but should be a part of your overall strategy.

    PS: Swap out the prlog.org with prweb.com and others to get an idea of how you can get infront of the Google train with these methods.

    Also submit it to the right category in press release websites. also put hyperlinks and anchor tags wherever possible. Please read my signature for more information.

    press releases should always be to the point and FACTUAL.

    Social bookmark the press release once it is up there and build some quick backlinks to the press release URL. This will help your PR beat the top ranking sites for your keywords

    Press releases definitely help you a lot with rankings. Your press releases keeps getting picked by different websites and hence you keep getting more and more backlinks.

    If a press release is well written it can drive a lot of traffic plus give you some nice link juice from quality authority websites.
