New Tool Creates Dynamic Facebook Pages with Drag-and-Drop

I reviewed a demo of a new service called Lujure that completely eliminates need to know any coding to create dynamic Facebook pages including things like clickable images, embedded videos, share buttons, and autoresponder sign up forms, etc. The blog post I wrote that includes a short demo video is here:
Powerfully Interactive Facebook Page are Astonishingly Easy with Lujure | SuccessCREEations, Inc.

From my perspective, here are the pros and cons of the service.

Cons
  • $27/month recurring fee
  • "Powered by Lujure" footer credit in pages
  • Limited content types

Pros
  • Really is drag-and-drop easy
  • Create dynamic pages in minutes
  • Can build unlimited pages and tabs
  • Has affiliate program - 20% for 2 levels - Refer 5 sales & cover cost
  • Said to be adding affiliate codes to "Powered by" link
  • They are adding new content types & improved customizability

I was very impressed with the service when I saw it demoed in a webinar this weekend. My background is as a WordPress developer and social media trainer. I know how to use FB to generate business. But I'm not a FB coder.

I'm curious to get the take from the Warrior community here. Is this something the market needs? Will y'all use it?

Would I use it? Do I think many people would use it?

    NO.

There are too many people out there offering very cheap Facebook Fan pages and also a lot of ready to go templates (some free) in various WSO's. No way I would pay $27/month for something like that.

Also, I think your review may be a little biased since you are sending us over to your blog where you have your affiliate link to this service sprinkled all throughout the post.

    No thanks!!

Sure I'm biased. I said I was impressed. You're right though. I should have included a non-affiliate link so folks don't have to Google their name if they are offended by an affiliate link. Sorry about that. Here it is:

Nice. If you're really after some good conversation on the topic then no point risking the thread being banned.

I still can't see the market for this service though because there's too many cheaper alternatives out there. The last thing I need right now is yet another recurring expense to add to my collection. :-)

They would probably do better by offering the service for free and finding some upsell services or templates people could add on and purchase.

One thing that might sway folks to accept the monthly fee is this, they do not need to know how to upload files to a server, they do not need a hosting platform where they can keep those files and they are relieved of that extra "techy" stuff that confounds many people.

For those of us who eat, breathe and sleep this intergrated world of technology and marketing this service might seem unnecessary, but I know many businesses who would consider this a great option simply because they don't have to involve IT and file uploads and other 'internal' process issues that might slow them down.

With respect to free versus fee... many of my business clients will not touch a free service because they feel it is unreliable. A payment forms a 'contract' a promise of certain service delivery levels. Here's what a client of mine shared with me recently about a free offer he'd received:
"The old adage is so true.,.....you get what you pay for!!
I would rather pay a fair price to get a job reasonably well done.
I do not want to be gouged but I will never deal with the lowest price!
Imagine flying to Mars on the lowest bidder!
Or having surgery with the cheapest Doctor.
Or going to court with the cheapest lawyer!
        -------------------
The other old adage that comes to mind is that it is never about price.
        Every sales person knows that.
Buyer beware is another excellent old saying.............
and I run when I see the lowest price!"

I dare say any business that is at the stage of wanting to set up a personalised facebook fan page has probably already got their own web presence and thus the hosting, etc not a big issue.

I just saw this company and was trying to find an alternative. The developer package looks sweet to create multiple pages for clients but at $195 a month...no thanks!
Maybe at $100, but I think 2 bills is a little rich

I'm a little late in here it seems.

If you want a really dynamic tool that you can use for creating a variety of items, such as sales pages, squeeze pages, websites, fan pages, etc., take a peak at Artisteer.

I have been using it for nearly 5 months now and love it - totally dynamic and flexible. Sure it lacks some of the flexibility you see in Lujure (namely drag and drop) but once you get a feel for its power and utilities, it becomes quite flexible and totally useful. Some of the big drawbacks are the lack of "fan|share gating," however someone who is creative can find some good work-arounds.

    Warmest Regards,
