I have two similar domains available, but can't choose the best one. Anyone care to help?

I've found a good niche product. Lets call it the Nissan Skyline Drifter.

nissanskylinedrifter (com) and nissandrifter (com) are both available (sorry I can't post proper links yet). All other variables are good, i.e. CPC is high, allintitle searches are low, plenty of sales through my chosen advertiser etc. Also, the top 10 in Google for each keyword are almost identical with relatively weak competition.

Nissan Skyline Drifter has 1900 exact match searches per month
Nissan Drifter 1600 exact match searches per month, so quite similar

I seem to face a few options:

1. Register nissanskylinedrifter (com) as thats technically what the product is called and has slightly more exact match searches

2. Register nissandrifter (com) as it's shorter (so arguably better SEO) and easier to remember / type in. Although people don't really call it the Nissan Drifter..it's really called the Nissan Skyline Drifter.

3. Focus on one domain, but register the other and auto-redirect it in case someone manually types in the URL. But again, which domain is better?

4. Build two sites. One a sales site. One a review/article site to feed to the sales site. Although this would double my content creation, backlinking etc and I may loose clickthroughs from the review site.

I'm a bit stuck. What do people think is the best option, or can you see alternatives

Thanks
Bryan

Take both, but be careful if you are encroaching trademark violations if you stick the company's name in the URL you buy.

Both domains are good... Usually shorter domain is always the prime choice...

I hope you plan on flipping them right away... You will certainly get the domains yanked from you under ICANN rules for trade mark violation if Nissan petitions them. I have had domains yanked in the past for being to close to trademarks... The ones you have are clear trademark encroachments. You may just be giving yourself a headache if you proceed.

Thanks for that, and to all other other replies. I'm glad I asked the question, as I didn't think it was that big of a deal to use company names/products in domain names, but my domain will definitely breach trademarks!

I guess I'm best to search for keywords along the lines of Japanese Sport Drift cars (using my example) rather than a specific make / model...

IF you can afford it and have the time, buy and develop both sites, sell the less performing of th two.
