Reasons People Buy Things

Hi Warriors,

I just put together a short little video for people just getting into creating information products. This will also help you when writing direct response advertisements. I know this helped me, and I hope you find it informative too.

Video is here:

      Because when you can do those three things, you'll see the people around you be more happy, and when the people around you are more happy it will ultimately bring you more happiness!

      Interesting list, Ross.

      "Money can't buy happiness" is a myth. In reality, money can buy a great deal of happiness. It just cannot provide all of the happiness a person needs to feel fulfilled.

      Anyone in business who also seeks to be ethical spends time and energy creating products that give value - answers a need or want of the customer. There are plenty of people with extra money who can bring just a little more enjoyment to their lives with purchases of things or information. We offer products for people with money to spare.

      There is research to back up this basic idea. Dr. Steven Reiss is Emeritus Professor of Psychology at Ohio State U.

      The good doctor lists 16 motivating desires for all human behavior, but he feels they all fall within two categories;
      1. avoid pain
      2. gain pleasure
