How can you write a PR about a product site?

I've only written one press release, but I'm pretty sure you can write one just about pretty much anything....Anything that you would essentially want to draw attention to.

Do you have to mention that you are an Amazon Associate in the press release?

"Domain XXXXX is an online store that specializes in various products in the _______ niche. With over ____ years/months experience, we have come to evolve our site around similar products that our loyal customers have come to demand more of...."

or something like that...lol

This is a good idea.....you mean like "This site considers themselves to be the authority on the reviews of such products as...."

Throwing something in there about authority certainly wouldn't hurt

  You can write a press release about anything of course. Whether it will translate into coverage depends on whether the content is (a) new, (b) newsworthy, and (c) perceived as objective. To write a good press release, put yourself in the shoes of a journalist who needs a good story and wants to do as little work as possible. No journalist wants to be seen plugging a product. Every journalist looks for a "hook" -- something in the story that makes for interesting reading. Hope this helps!

You can write a press release about anything. It depends on how you put together your words.

You could for example explain that a test of the product has been carried out and it performed extremely well during the tests. Make it exciting.
