Hi,
I'm putting together a photography training package and I want to seek out and approach potential JV partners with products that I can use as part of my package as bonuses or freebies that will also serve as a front end give-aways for the author.
Before I begin to searching through Clickbank, paydot, ebay etc I just wanted to ask if anyone has any advice?

Ask yourself this: What is the benefit your JV Partners want? It must be good enough offer to give them a reason to partner you.

Also it helps to have a proven track record with proven sales to present as proof that you have a viable and desired product.

    You have a great idea!

And many 'gurus' are doing the same to build their business. But...

It always hard to get a 'Yes' from a great JV partners. Especially when getting start without a big name.

It is because they are busy most of the time. And they receive many JV proposals weekly if not daily. So your proposal could be buried in their email box.

You need a 'door opener' to catch your JV partners' attention. Giveaway commission is not the winning factor. You need to give your unique value to your partners.

Think about what do your partners need in their business that you can provide in a unique way.

If you are good at photography, can you think of how to use your skill to improve their business?

Another powerful way I use is to contact the bloggers in your niche who accept guest posts. Submit your guest post to add value to their business as a door opener to bring in your JV ideas.

You can promote your product in the guest post with / without sharing the commission with your partners.

It is easy to find your partners in your niche. Type 'keyword phrase in your niche' 'guest post by' in google. You will find many of them.

I used this strategy to make guest post at a famous PR#6 blog in my niche AND develop the relationship with my JV partner.

I share all the details about this 'door opener' strategy in my guest post magic.

@fated82 the main benefit would be more exposure for them and their product then they would have the added benefit of being associated with a great product when it get's big

@scortillion I sold about 500 copies of the original ebook an couple of years ago so I know there is a demand, plus there are other products out there that get sold to this niche

@Frank Thanks for the advice! some great ideas there to work with ther. Much appreciated.

Those are the points you have to present to the JV so they know you have something that sells and is worth their time.

I pick what programs I want to be a JV partner for and email the potential product, course, etc owner and explain to him the value I can bring to his business and bottom line.

Request for me to be a JV partner go directly in my Trash, or spam, folder. Especially if the subject lines are not thoughtout enough to get past my spam filters. First of all, if you can't write an email subject line to bypass my spam filters then I don't want to be your JV partner anyway because you have lots more to learn.
