Hi everyone,

I am new to the forum and have a question I hope someone can help with.

I have a free report (which will lead to more free reports) that I want to get affiliates to promote, as at the end of my free reports they will be a product.

Obviously I want to offer the affilate commision on any sale made when someone signs up through their link but I don't know how to do this.

So I need some software that will be able to sort out which customers signed up from which affiliate's link.

The problem is the sale that takes place will be 10-14 afetr the person signs up for the initial free report and I don't know how to track which prospect is for which affiliate.

Can anyone help?

You can sign up at Ejunkie.com and run your affiliate program there, that should accomplish what you want.

Hi Adam, thanks a lot for your reply. I'm not sure if Ejunkie would work with my product though - it's a Wordpress membership site comprising streaming videos & PDF downloads (presently) using the Wishlist membership plugin. Looking through the Ejunkie site I'm not sure if that is compatible?

    So the order process is
Email sumbit for free report (you get +1 on your list)
    Auto response
    Auto response
    Auto response
    Auto response
    Product pitch > sale.

The way i see it, you can either offer affiliates access at the last step (eg they get paid per sale, promote how they like) or do the math and offer a CPA on the email submit.

I doubt you are not going to get people to promote your email list on the off chance you make a sale from it 14 days later.
Even if you could, tracking it would be next to impossible.

The technical realities of organizing your own CPA email submit yourself are probably way to much, and i doubt you have the capital to get on a network, so i guess its the 1st option.

Wp Affiliate Platform is supposed to be pretty good:

I think it is compatible with Wishlist membership plugin as well.

If I'm understanding you correctly, you have a free report containing links to your product, and you're planning to give it to your affiliates so that they can then give it to their subscribers/blog readers/list members? If that's the case, then what you want is called a "rebrandable" report. Basically, you insert special links in the report, and distribute it with a small piece of software (I use ViralPDF). Before your affiliate distributes the report, he or she needs to run the software to replace your links with theirs.

I have one available to my affiliates if you'd like to see it in action.

      Hi everyone,
thanks so much for your help so far.

I've decided go with Clickbank as my affiliate model but I want to add an upsell as part of the process e.g. once the customer has clicked on the 'buy' button, I want them to be presented with an upsell page offering the choice of normal product A or enhanced product with added stuff B. Is it possible to fit this in with the Clickbank model? It seems awkward in that you'd have to somehow carry the hoplink though to the 2nd page.
