Selling Amazon Products

I have put up a couple of sites selling amazon products. I have gotten a few sales, but not much. Does anyone know a top quality product that would show me how to set up successful sites selling Amazon Products. I have seen a lot of very Positive feedback about Jan Roos and his videos teaching how to make money selling amazon products. Any comments will be appreciated. I am thinking about buying his videos.

Let me know how it goies. I have about 30 sites with Amazon products and I haven't made a sale yet. Then again I don't have any backlinks to them yet. So we will see.

When it comes to selling Amazon products online, I have had some success by writing for Hubpages.com.You have the possibility to add an Amazon widget with products next to your articles. The best thing is that Hubpages articles often get indexed quick and the domain has a good page rank.

If you start selling Amazon products from a brand new blog, you need to wait for some time before your blog gets indexed and receives some page rank.

You can checkout Deadbeat Super Affiliate. It's pretty good. I bought it and I'm using it with my team now.

    Here's a post about it.

Profitzon is now DeadBeat Super Affiliate.

I'd highly recommend Dan's product. It's more basic information, but will definitely show you to how build some good niche sites and build solid links.

I recommend Matt Carter at MattsMarketingBlog which is absolutely free video training. Plus, he'll give you a free wordpress affiliate template. His blog posts, themselves, are great, too.

Just remember, though, that when you start earning with Amazon, you won't be paid until 60 days later. Read the help section on "payments" and look at the payment schedule.

What I usually do is let amazon tell me what are some best sellers and whats ranking up in sales. Amazon.com Movers & Shakers: The biggest gainers in Kitchen & Dining sales rank over the past 24 hours. This link here tells you what products are moving up in rank and might be worth to do some keyword research into.

A lot of times you can do all the niche research you want but you won't know if it will make money until you build your store the right way with content and good seo.

    Good Luck

I have been doing Amazon since September - No sales until November - Yesterday 14 sales in one day.

It looks likes it takes a bit of time for google to notice the sites and put them up in the ranking.

How much SEO did you do on these sites? How much banklinking etc?

I'm interested to know because I have an Amazon site and it's currently not getting any traffic even though ranked in google - ranked on first page for one keyword (only 80 searches/m though) currently.

I want my individual product review pages to rank really. Need some ideas how to get traffic to these sites.

They key is to be consistent in your backlinking to your individual pages as well as to your site itself. Most of the time your sites will do a google dance and that's the time to keep backlinking. Most people make the mistake of giving up and then their rankings really suffer after the dance!

Also, you need to look at keywords that have higher search volume than 80 searches/month. That is way too low!

The 80 searches a month is the exact results for my domain name (I had to put a plural which ruined my domain name, otherwise searches would've been much higher). My plan is to do most SEO on the individual review pages and these all have over 3k/m searches.

I have one article on EA pointing to each blog page. I have done nothing else for offpage SEO

I do pick my keywords very very carefully. Usually with no competition for inanchor and intitle - if I can get it. I don't worry about low searches as well chosen keywords will get found in time by google.

Chris Guthrie is good as well, has a free e-book on his site. I found out about him on the smart passive income.

Here are some tips for making money on Amazon

    - Focus on big ticket items that are popular (you can check the best sellers list on Amazon for lots of categories)
    - Smaller items are good because people tend to buy small items, cheaper on shipping!
    - Do keyword research before hand so you know what people are searching for, and what you should be writing about on your site
    - When you build your site write good content, write reviews and share any coupons you find, these are things that BUYERS will be searching for, and you want buyers to click on your links
    - Put your affiliate links in the article, multiple times, and add some pictures also with your affiliate link linking to the product page

Another good one is Sara Young's Easy Paycheck Formula, but I'm not sure if it's available right now. Also see this thread...

I can second, the nicheprofitcourse being good material. I don't have any other Amazon affiliate products to compare it to, but Chris has put together a basic, yet comprehensive plan that is easy to follow. It comes with a nice theme too which is probably worth close to the cost of the course. Also he answers questions that you post inside the course which is pretty valuable.

I have about 10 small sites and one of them makes 90% of the sales. I am figuring there is a certain kind of person that really likes to shop at Amazon. It would be good profile such people, identify the things they are into and promote these products.
