How to start a squeeze-page business

I am relatively new to squeeze page design and writing. However, I find it really enjoyable, and I know it is an essential tool in IM.

I have discovered I have a knack for squeeze copy as well.

So, I am interested in starting a part-time squeeze page business. I would provide squeeze pages to clients, with two versions for split testing.

I am especially interested in the copywriting aspect of this, more so than the design part.

Here are my questions:
  1. Is this a viable niche? Are there copywriters who focus on/specialize squeeze pages?
  2. Where do I break into the market? Do I post services for offer here (expensive)? Or do I try my hand at elance or guru? Is there anywhere else?
  3. How do I price my initial services?
  4. How do I position myself? Do I explain outright I am looking to gain experience? Or do I sprinkle fairy dust on, and simply become a "master copywriter"?
  5. I am more confident about my copywriting skills than my design skills.
  6. What is the least set of design skills I could get by with at first, while still offering a real service? I am not very familiar with design principles or software. Could I outsource this?
  7. Do I even need to know design? Or is the copywriting a sufficient service?

I look forward to a good and helpful discussion about these questions.

To be honest with you, there are sooo many services out there which are doing exactly the same thing but again, it is a viable business and evergreen as well..

Before you start, you need to research the market and make something better (without re-inventing the wheel), so that you can give people reason to buy your stuff rather than someone else's.

And to put your service, why not create multiple streams of income but putting your service on elance, gugu etc etc..

    Ron..

So in the spirit of doing research, can any of you WF users name something that has been missing from squeeze page services you have paid for?

What do you wish was included more often in these services or products?

You can earn money writing copy specifically for lead capture pages, especially if you track your clients conversion rates and get testimonials.

I would start by running a WSO in the Warriors For Hire section. Show off some of your best work in the sales thread and you should get some quick income.

    We Warriors all love copywriters

you can create specific copy and layouts for people and create packages of 20 to 50 templates that you can sell with Resale Rights or Private Label Rights.

Do WF users have experience with paying for this sort of package? What were the most negative aspects of it? The best? What do you wish had been different?
