where do you find these outsourcing resources in Philippines? I always see people saying they outsource there, but I never see any reference as to how to specifically find these people or companies.

Try odesk or craigslist local version.

For SEO ,india is good option. I request you to try once with any company , you feel comfortable with.

Personally haven't had any luck in India, and find it much easier in the Philippines. to find someone good you need to interview a lot of people. Try Odesk, remotestaff.biz, vworker, freelancer.com or hire direct on craigslist, or job sites - just search for "jobs philippines" or "jobs india" and there are lots of free sites to post on. Use Time Doctor software to manage the people.

I for one "insource" marketing work and other types of tasks requiring English comprehension and communication skills here in the Philippines, particularly Manila and other big provincial cities.

For tech work like .NET/PHP/AJAX/Javascript software programming, Unix/networking/server setup, configuration/maintenance/management and HTML/CSS/Flash/Wordpress development, I outsource to India and New Zealand. This is after encountering difficulty in finding people who can do such tasks considering my standards, and had to learn to do these tasks on my own, keeping in mind my own standards, before I could find people exactly matching the skill set levels I needed. I found my colleagues in India and New Zealand, after searching in North America, South America, Asia and the EU.

Not that I'm leaving out the other countries due to available skill set levels, reliability, professionalism and work ethics. Rather, based on my experience and test results, these 3 countries provide me with the best benefits as a person in business.

Oh, by the way, I find "junk work" rather derogatory and offensive, especially for people interested in doing such tasks, but that's just me I guess.
