Give Yourself A 40% Pay Raise?

Ok, before I continue, this isn't a plug for my services. I just wanted to share a method I've been using lately to increase my income to over 40%... This may apply to almost all products.

After selling products with PLR for almost a year, I noticed a few things.

Firstly, keeping subscribers active when supplying content etc, is difficult if you are supplying them different products every month. You have to assume that they actually take action and use what you give them.

Secondly, if they are not doing so, then they will cancel. Zero or little ROI usually = quick cancellation. The solution was to come up with something that would help my customers actually get things going, because if they do that, and start making money... then they will buy more from me (and I have a few who do exactly that).

So here's what I did...

I basically set up a system / service that does the work for them. In my case, uploading the website and content for them.

The uptake has been good, and I guess it's because the service is both affordable, and useful... especially for newbies.

I outsource thw work and become a project manager. This has increased my income by 40%.

Now...

What can you offer your customers that will help them achieve their outcome? It doesn't have to be a service. It can be a fast start guide or videos. Anything like that can add some serious $$$ to your bottom line.

If you decide that you can offer a service of sorts, then consider using elance or odesk to find some one to do it for you. I have a guy from elance and he charges a fixed price per project.

I realize that many of us and many more entering the IM field are taught that the easiest way to get started is to create an info product blah blah blah.

But here's the kicker...

If you're going to work your butt off to make $1, it will take you the same effort to make $100.00. So try and make each post a winner. It makes sense. Don't sell them the car, fill it up with gas and show them how to drive it for maximum pleasure.

Trust me, people will pay you for the experience if it makes life easier for them. It's the old 7=11 marketing principle: People will pay more for the sake of convenience. All you gotta do is add more value.

I hope this inspires some creativity for some of you. If you've thought about it, but aren't sure how.. feel free to fire away with some questions.

Wishing you the best of success!
