I am looking at setting up a software membership site but am on a very tight budget.

What memebrship site script do people recommend and what low cost scripts are around

I don't know what you mean by 'low cost' but I use Launch Formula Marketing on some of my membership sites.

Amember is another choice that's not too high priced.

Considering it now sells for $997 I don't think you could consider LFM anywhere even remotely close to low cost.

I would suggest you go with Wordpress then "Wordpress Membership" plugin. Just google/search them.
