Hi everyone my name is Harvey but you can just call me zepp or zeppb. I've been lurking here for about 2 months now and I decided it was time to make my first post.

First of all I would like to give a big thank you to Jeremy and Steven Wagenheim on the warriorforum. These 2 men have given me valuable tips and advice.

I've always tried to succeed in IM for years actually trying different things but never made a single sale. Well I'm here today to let all the newcomers who haven't made their first sale YOU STILL CAN.

I made my first sale ever last week and I was so happy I was smiling from ear to ear. My biggest mistakes was keyword research and niche selection.

Last month I was in the weight loss niche. Started writing articles, link submissions, blog postings, forum postings, etc. But where I failed was the niche was highly competitive and my BIGGEST MISTAKE EVER which was poor keyword research.

I dropped that niche for now and started in a new one after i did some DECENT KEYWORD RESEARCH. Guess what? I made my first sale on my first article published in that niche! So with that said if your having trouble making your first sale you should do some keyword research and research the competition in your niche.

    Congrats! The first sale is always a great feeling. Now analyze what exactly made that sale and focus on that to get more and more sales.

    Thanks and indeed it is so tough to make your first sale but after that it just gets easier. Since last week after my first sale i've made 4 more sales. Right now i'm working on getting at least 1 sale/day in my niche. Also plan to work in another niche as well more as a part time thing than with my current niche.

    Always remember;
    1) Research
    2) Test to find exactly what works and why.
    3) refine by focusing on what works and eliminating what doesn't. For marginally successful projects or actions, you need to evaluate if they have some realistic potential or should be dropped in favor of something else.

    Important - Resist with all your might the temptation to get pulled away from the task at hand. Don't check you stats too much unless you are actually running a test that demands you do so. It can suck away far too much of your time.

    To know what the task is, you must plan, and plan well. Make a plan every week of what you need to accomplish and stick to it. It should be actually written down. There will be some flexibility there, but if you have no plan, you spend too much time doing extraneous activities (like forum posting...) instead of concentrating on important ones.
