Site map - I need ur advice Warriors

INTERNET MARKETING

OK I am helping a mate launch a new site. We submitted the sitemap to google a couple of months ago and got the first 500 pages indexed. We then changed the site and added an RSS so we resubmitted the sitemap this morning (UK time) about 12hrs ago.

It now says in webmaster tools that we have no pages indexed with 1k pages submitted.

Have I done something wrong or does google do this sometimes when you resubmit a sitemap?

This is normal. Youve resubmitted the sitemap, in which Google assumes it needs to reconfirm the site.

Just give it time.
