Which Program To Create a Video Sales Letter

I'm in the process of creating a video sales letter and was wondering which program do you guys use?

Do you use Windows Movie Maker or Power Point?

Not sure how to work the Movie Maker so I'm leaning more towards Power Point?

Any suggestions?

Most people use Camtasia to record a screencast of their computer screen while they're talking and running a Powerpoint presentation.

You can also use an open source screen recording software program called CamStudio.

Now, I'm a little different. I use OpenOffice Impress (an open source version of Powerpoint) to save my slides as .jpg files. Then I do my voice overs in Audacity (an open source sound editor) and create the actual video using Sony Vegas 9Sony Vegas 9 (an inexpensive video editing program).

It's a little more complicated, but it gives me more control over the video.

I didn't use Camtasia studios. I used Adobe After Effects. You can see the VIDEO SALES PAGE at ESL GAMES. I am not a Guru...but I hope to be soon. Let me know what you think about the page...and later on I will make a Warrior Forum thread on how I made the video. It is actually pretty easy. If you are interested in seeing it go to ESL GAMES.

I have tried various packages and Camtasia is relatively easy to master with Open Office impress for Slide shows.

You can just as well use:-

Jing Free (has limitations such, only save to swf, can only record for 5 mins, can only save or upload to screencast) - not Youtube user friendly
      or
Jing Pro - only $9.95, can upload straight to Youtube, facebook, twitter

Open Office for slides - free

If using Movie maker you will need slides converted to jpgs - can upload straight to Youtube and FTP (I think, without checking)

Paint.net for slide making - free
      Cheers

So honestly, how will you know when you are a "guru?" I often wonder what people think is actual "guru" status...Sorry OP not trying to hijack your thread, just think this word "guru" is way over used!
