Hi Guys

How can I get my affiliate link on a ezine article since ezine does not allow affiliate links?

I found this method where u buy a cheap domain and redirect it to your link but i want to know if there is a better way.

Thank You

Why don't you use a real domain name? It's not a big deal and 1 sale will cover the cost.

Choosing a good domain name will give you more credibility in the eyes of your visitors

    My 2 cents

    Hi there,
why not send them to a squeeze page, offer them a free 5 day course (obviously something that relates to the affiliate products) in return for their email address, then at the end of of the course write a mini email promotion for your affiliate link? This is what I have done in the past and it works pretty well. The course should help solve their problem however, make sure that the product will offer a quicker/easier/cheaper etc way of solving it. People more often than not like to take the path of least resistance :-)

    hope this helps

I think you misunderstand. its just a mini-5 day email ecourse. 5 emails, 5 great tips they can put to use straight away, and at the end of each email you can say something like "If you liked this tip, then you'll love this course" or something along those lines.

Just make sure you offer them highly valuable content, directly related to the subject of the product. If u are in another niche market, then maybe an ecourse won't work as much, and u just offer them 1 big secret and then direct them on to the affiliate page. Like the "sandwich" page technique which is basically:

Squeeze page offering 1 big tip > redirect right to next page where you offer that 1 big tip, and at the bottom of the content you've delivered, then plug the related affiliate product & maybe a bonus for buying, tell them what they gotta do and then link them to the next page which is the affiliate page.

It may need a bit of modifying but its effective, in that those that clickthrough are more likely to buy.

The better way is to avoid direct-linking altogether, pre-sell properly and build a list. These two things are the "bread and butter" of article marketing for affiliate sales, and by direct-linking you can do neither of them. It really does all boil down to that, Kev.

For most people, on average, finding a better way of direct-linking can perhaps get their commissions up from 5% or 10% of what's realistically available to them, nearer to 15% of it. It can't approach the other 85% of the potential income from their work that comes from more effective pre-selling and list-building.

That method of re-directing a domain-name to your affiliate link is a good, effective, link-concealing way of forwarding the traffic from your little blog/site where you do the pre-selling and have the opt-in, not the way of forwarding it directly from EZA directly to a sales page.

What Cadi wisely suggests in the post above will work far better than what you were originally asking about. No comparison at all. I know it's not what you wanted to hear, but I'm afraid that doesn't make it any less true.

I would say you setup a squeeze page and direct your traffic there and build on your list. You do not just want to sell to these customers just once. Remember, the money is in the list!
