Hi all,

I'm new to this forum and new to internet marketing in general. I'm currently working on my site but I want to write as much content as and learn as much as possible before going full-tilt with marketing.

At the moment I struggling to write articles for the site (I've done about four) and I was wondering if anyone has any tips on content generation and article writing.

Thank you in advance.

Of course, quality original is best, but can be tedious to produce. If you are looking for search engine ranking, you will probably need to have content on par with the number of pages the top ranked competition has. If you are bring in PPC traffic to sale pages, you might just need 10 pages of closely related content in the site in order to improve landing page quality rank and lower cpc.
One can find pre-written plr article packs on most subjects for a low price, they are not the best quality and equally important, they might not earh full seo credit due to being duplicated, all other the web. Rewriting these articles or combining parts of them into new articles improves the originality factor. I understand just writing an introductory paragraph for stock material helps your page rank as unique.
For your visitors benifit more than for search ranking, you can add RSS feeds from other related sites temporarily until your original content is flashed out. There are wordpress plugins that make this simple.
People running auto blogs populated with 'found' material use an auto Yahoo Answers oluin that finds related discussions and copies them to your site, apparently this falls under fair use.
Some of the gurus advise getting at least 10 pages of content in place before you bother withe link getting, seo activities. Be patient, they say you aren't 'credited' with the link juice benifit of some links for months. The search engines may have new domains in a probation period, you cerntainly don't want 100s of new pages and links a day showing up.

Yeah, you can go to amazon and look up books in your niche. Just check out some of their book previews and look at their table of contents to get an idea for what subjects you could write about.

You can have someone else write your content for you if you have the money for it. Odesk.com, Elance.com, Freelance.com, and Textbroker.com all come to mind for hiring writers. Also, there are Warriors for hire in the Warriors For Hire section of these message boards. Depending on how well you want the content written, you can pay $5 for a 500 word article or a lot more for better quality.

hi and a big welcome to online marketing.

You can buy articles pre-written from plr stores or hire someone to write around 10 articles a day which are great quality.

Remember writing articles isn't the only way to do marketing, try creating a squidoo lens, blogging, press releases and videos.
Videos are great because they are much more fun shooting and watching, and people can see you're a real person not just someone hiding behind a site.

Although it is good to learn about internet marketing and you should invest in your knowledge, however implementing is what will give you results. No point having the knowledge in your head which no one can see.
Offer free help and advice in your marketing content, share your knowledge and you are definitely in the right place.
Warrior forum is a great place to network with other marketers and learn/ask questions.

    All the best

If you have access to the software Market Samurai, which I beleive you can do a trial period offer, they have a feature which offers content generation. They are pre-written articles which you can use to fill out your site. Otherwise, you can hire freelance writers who are just starting out and offer them a link to their services in exchange for a free article written for you. You can find freelancers willing to do this on sites like Fiverr or Craigslist.

Yes, go over to oDesk and hire someone. I just did a video on my blog about outsourcing. I just paid someone over there to write 15 articles for me on a specific keyword. It's great time saver and inexpensive. Good luck

If you get really stuck, find a PLR article or an article on another website and start rewriting the first paragraph. From there you should easily be able to continue writing on your own without looking at the original piece.
