Critique my landing page :)

Ok so I recently started working on a landing page to try and persuade people to contact my site for further information on my services and buy and so on yada yada. Anyways this is my first draft of the landing page I'm not quite sure how else to set it up and what else to include for the most part I think all the basic and eye catching info is there.

Let me know what you think and what I could change or get rid of or maybe different picture or no pictures. I don't know. :/

Thanks for the insight and feedback

PS whats some good places to have people promote landing pages? Any affiliate networks that allow you to submit a landing page? I looked through like 3 or 4 of the top sites I found but little info on submitting landing pages, any information on that would also be helpful. Thanks again!

    Where is your opt-in box?

You should be collecting your visitors emails, so you can offer your products/services. Offer something...free SEO mini-guide or report for example.
You can't just hope that they will contact you.

I love the overall look of it. My immediate suggestions are (which are very simple):

    - Change the You, Services, Contact, Blog Menu Text to something that looks 3dish and web 2.0ish like everything else does

-Ditto for your contact information at the top right of the screen

    - Ditto for "The Power of Social Media Marketing"

-Ditto for "This could be you"

-Ditto for the Yellow stars midway through the page

-Ditto for "Get 10s of THOUSANDS of visitors for each piece of content you promote with us, ORGANICALLY. "

-Ditto for the red text "we can help you" further down the page

I dunno, maybe I got spoiled since I loved the look of the little man on the yellow arrow. 3d graphics just stand out and make things more attractive and feel more professional. Almost everything else has that web 2.0 feel except for these components. Fix that and the look of the site is almost perfect IMO

P.S. also Raise the "This could be you / little man" up a few spaces.. Too much empty space between those and the divide line under "The Power of social marketing"

LOOKS good and the pics are fine. Here are my constructive critiques:

    • I don't like that much space between:
"The Power of Social..." and "This Could Be You..."
    • This part, while important, is boring:
    In the beginning:
...now seen over 27,000,000 website visitors:

    • The number 27,798,227 looks like it was made-up.
I'm not saying that it is, but it doesn't "feel" like a real figure.

    • This part is also great info, but boring:
To us, successful Social Media Marketing is the leveraging
    ...
in your area, that conversation is about you.

    • I would make this statement GRAB attention, larger font, bold, maybe blue or green or something, because you want it to catch those people who are just scanning your site to get to "the bottom line":
The bottom line is we can work with anything and never turn down a challenge Let us help you develop your social media strategy and garner your website some serious results.
Now, I am NOT an IM expert, this is just what I see when I go to your site and pretend I am a buyer.

The bottom line here is, it looks GREAT. If you were in the business of making squeezepages, I would buy from you!

Hope this helps make you tons of money!

Well, straight off the bat, looking at your site, it looks more of like a Sales Page. Since your goal is to

I would definitely advise you to turn it into a squeeze page to capture your visitors name and email by giving away something for free that demonstrates your expertise and provides value to your potential customer for FREE...

Then once you have their name and email you can CONTACT them through emails, giving them more valuable help/advice that your services provide and give them with your contact information for your services or link to offer them a PAID membership to access your services, etc.

As for the page itself here's my advice:

    1. Put in a HEADLINE that is compelling and eye-catching
    2. Put an Opt-In form "Above the Fold', which means high enough on the page so that the visitor doesn't have to scroll down to see if there's opt-in box (this has been proven to drastically increase conversion).
    3. Have a BIG RED ARROW or ARROWS pointing to the OPT-IN form so the visitor can EASILY see where it is
    4. Put the word FREE in the headline and in the Subheading (so people IMMEDIATELY know your not selling anything, just adding value)
    5. TEST another squeeze page with a different Headline

Do this for now, it will seriously increase your conversions.

Awesome advice everyone! I'm very happy with the feedback. THANK YOU! I'm going to start implementing a bunch of these techniques and ideas right away! Keep an eye out because I'll be reposting the page to see if you guys like the new look.

I'm definitely going to get a form on my page to fill out and submit. I'm thinking of making a few fields almost like my contact page. How many fields do you think are too many for a squeeze page? I was thinking "Name" "Email" and "Your Site" and maybe titling it something like "FREE SITE CONSULATION! Submit your site now and receive a free social media marketing consultation on what strategies would be best for you, your site and your business to achieve the most traffic, best results and absolute best ROI!" or something like that?...what do you think?

I can't wait to get this up and running now! I was skeptical of my skills because this is the first page I've created like this. I was expecting much worse feedback.

Also, just wondering is there any affiliate sites to enter a squeeze/landing page to for affiliates to promote? I tried a few sites (clickbank, maxbounty, etc) Thanks again!

ONE MORE THING!? sorry for all the questions but as for this landing page do you think I should make it the new "Services" page? or keep it separate from the rest of the site? Just Wondering
