Do my pages/posts compete with each other?

I have a few blog type sites that I add content to every few days, I like adding content but so the blog doesn't become cluttered looking should I post additional info on other pages? Or should I just keep adding to one main page that targets my keywords?

I do not quite understand how a blog can become cluttered.

Usually on a blog the newer stuff is on top and the older stuff is being pushed down. The front page usually only shows a few posts anyhow.

Maybe you want to elaborate a little or show your site(s).

I am targeting some of the same keywords in my other pages,is that counter productive? I have just noticed that some blog sites seem very drawn out which could perhaps turn some readers off. Anyhow, heres the blog www dot policeexamtips dot com

It was my first crack at a site, and only makes a few bucks every few days through adsense so dont be too harsh on my rookie skills. Input is welcome though.

    My first post.:p I'm a rookie too.

A lot will depend on if you are trying to get people to make an affiliate product purchase or click adsense. I would think if you are staying pretty close on your main topic, you can blog away and it all works out with repeat visitors who keep returning to read and then click relevant ads.

A lot of affiliate marketers try to get potential buyers to land on one specific page when they search specific keywords. It all depends on what you want to do.

Just my opinion. I'm new. BTW, retired LEO here.

I figure my first few sites will be trial and error, thats fine with me just as long as I learn something that will benefit my future sites.

Retired LEO, thats cool, thanks for the service. Gd luck with your IM endeavors.
