Aweber has a function which is called "Wrap Long Lines" which lets you wrap long links, to a guidline ruler.

From this:

Is there any software which does this automatically? (as i need to edit along letter) but don't want to always log into aweber, when i do this.?

+ aweber you cannot change the width right? - or can you?

This isn't very pretty but until someone drops in with a better solution...

You can use notepad and 2 keypresses or if you write a short macro using AutoHotkey then you only need 1 keypress or less if you setup a looping macro.

You need hard returns where you want your sentences to end.

If you want to give this a try:
Based on your example it looks like you want a return around col/character 40 plus or minus a few letters. Open up notepad, under format make sure Word Wrap is on. Copy your text into notepad then resize the notepad window horizontally until the last word you want on a line is the last word on the line.

Next, put your cursor in the most upper left position. Now to add some hard returns, hit the 'end' key then the 'enter' key and continue hitting the 'end' key followed by the 'enter' key to the end of your document.

A bit tedious but it will get the job done.

If you want it to move faster then here's a macro that will work with the F11 key:
    f11::send {end}{enter}{end}{enter}{end}{enter}{end}{enter}{e nd}{enter}{end}{enter}{end}{enter}{end}{enter}{end }{enter}{end}{enter}

You'll have to download/install AutoHotkey and then save the above to a file with the 'ahk' extension. This macro will do 10 lines at a go.

This isn't very elegant but it might tide you over until something better comes along.

There used to be app called note-tab lite which does this. You could set the lines to 60 characters easily.

Not sure if it's still around.

I use text editing software called EditPlus which has the facility to save the file with hard line breaks at a position you define.

    Tools > Preferences > Files > Settings & Syntax > Word-Wrap

    Check "enable word wrap".

Check "save wrapped lines with CR/LF".

Enter "format column number" value (default is 50).

    Cheers,

    Neil

      Thank you.

I wanted to resize them, without going through the whole document and doing it individually.

NoteTab does that for you. You can set the exact number of characters you want in a line in the Options menu, and it will wrap all lines. You can also switch between wrapped and non-wrapped lines with one click with one of the buttons on the toolbar.

(I don't remember if that button was on the boolbar by default, but if it's not there, you can customize the toolbar and drag it there.)

The free version of NoteTab will do all these.

Woah! You don't need to complicate things and use any software for this. There are plenty of places online that will do this for you. Simply paste your email in and set the number of characters you want per line. Bingo, all done... in a matter of seconds.
