Protecting your domain IP?

How can you protect all your domains which are located on same hosting by being seen with the Reverse IP Lookup?

Is that domain privacy or by hosting your domains on separated IPs on your server?

    You can't.

You can use domain privacy so others can't see that you own the domain but you cannot block a reverse IP search to see all sites on an IP.

I also wouldn't put a lot of faith is domain privacy either.

Bear in mind that some cheap shared hosts may have dozens of accounts on the same IP, making finding your sites with reverse IP a bit of a guessing game.

Some big timers scatter their resources to cut down competitive spying.

Last time I looked at a Dreamhost account, the 10 domains were spread over 3 or 4 different IPs, they don't cram in so many domains on each IP.

Other ways they can associate sites include searching for the contact page information (obviously),there are more than one service indexing google analytics account numbers and clickbank IDs.

With the help of Reverse IP lookup tool you can analyse your neighbour website, which are using same IP address. So it will helps you to avoid become an unfortunate person of phishing and scam websites. However, you should opt Dedicate IP address to avoid further problems. Having your website on a Dedicated IP have its own importance such as if you want to access your website by FTP or via Web browser even when the domain name is inaccessible, ( incase if your domainname is on propagation periods. ) then you can access your website using IP address.

Domain privacy is one method. You need to pay more. One need a small footprint to catch all your site like Google Analytics, adsense id, even your hosting server, etc.

Dont know how to stay away from the radar completely.
