Keyword Drop

We have a successful site with good Google search impressions, the last month we've seen a massive drop in our Google impressions, this was repeated few times during the last month then two days ago.

I thought this was due to the Google Dance effect but now that this has happened more than once not sure what to make out of if.

Any idea, help or advice!! :confused:

    Google dance happens often. Make sure you have some good backlinks with PR so that, your spot will be reserved. Use backlinks from squido, ezine, etc.

    One of the first things I would do is to analyse the variety of spread of IP's that your back links are coming from. One of the most under rated aspects of back linking in general is to make sure you have the widest spread of IP possible.

    We took a site that was in a very competetive keyphrase in the gaming and gambling niche and took it from Page 2 to Page 1 in Google against 45 mill plus competitors purely through expanding the IP range of the back links.

    Make sure your "Back Links Landscape" is also as wide and varied in the types of links as well. Don't just go for links with PR as they are actually quite often pretty worthless when you analyse them for PR Deprecation and seepage etc Make your "Back Links Landscape" look as "humanly genenrated" as possible so don't worry about the odd typo/mistake as well.

      Thanks for the feedback, I have done all that, I have produced many quality backlinks for the site and have ensured that all backlinks come from a variety of IP's spread as far as possible.

      This is the only site that I have which is causing me this issue, I do have other successful sites that do rank well but not seen this sudden and continues drop before.
