Best way to learn IM

The best advice I have is to read as much as you can on this forum - it has all the information you need to make lot's of progress - for FREE...

search for SEO on this forum and you will find a lot of great information. Plus you have the review to read about it here as well.

Before buying anything, I would test some free options. Test everything for yourself. You have to take the internet and make it your own. Only you know what activities will hold your interest long enough to stick with it long enough to see results.

Here are two things to NOT do:
1. Use a company trademark in the domain name. The company will eventually come after its trademark, and you will have wasted your time and money.
2. Show affiliate products on a dot info. Usually means deindexing by Google. Although a registrar tells you it is possible to sell items at a dot info, Google frowns on this. Save dot info for information sites. Adsense on a dot info seems to work.

The first step to traffic is on page SEO, this is something you need to get right the very first time you publish your content. Lets face it once its published chances are it wont be edited again.



For each article I target only one keyword, I then include this keyword in the following:


Title Tag – Include your keyword


Use relevant H2/H3 tags.


Mention the keyword within the first 50 words


Alt text for images – Include your keyword, Example; canon-printer (no caps or spaces)


Keyword density of 1%-2% - This is the percentage which you should mention your keyword, its better for the content to sound natural, so if you cant make the 2% then its no big deal.


Meta description (Not used for ranking but for Google’s snippet, ie displayed in search results)


Meta Keywords – Again, not used for Google ranking, but still a good idea to fill

One of the best places is to go to youtube and check out "googlewebmaster" channel, thats google telling you what and how they rank and what actually counts for SEO. On page SEO is simple, but make sure you know what google is after will save you time and effort, and my best advice is to get your on page seo right the first time, and leave it.

Well the more ebooks you get and read the more you will learn.
Yes some of them are junk but you just have to sift through them if you want to keep learning from them.

Also, let me recommend chris farrell's teachings. Just google him and you will be able to get to his main site. He teaches alot about I.M. and I think thats one of the best places to learn.

Get involved in the Squidoo world. The Squidu forum is also excellent. Everyone is very friendly because Squidoo is a community. The Warrior forum is a community too, however here there are many marketers trying to sell you something, instead of teaching you something.

In the Squidu forum you'll have many lessons from friends who want to see your lenses at the top. And creating Squidoo lenses is totally free, you make money with them, and you have many other advantages because comments in other Squidoo lenses are always welcome. While in forums and blogs, you may have various problems. You get points for making comments and rating lenses, what means that you have a residual income only thanks to the royalties you receive.

I'm loving the Squidoo community, the same way I love the Warrior community. Make a combination: follow the lessons in this forum, and the lessons in the Squidu forum. I've learned many things in this forum, it's helping me a lot. I've also learned many things in the Warrior forum. Both are excellent. Follow the free lessons you'll have in these forums and don't buy anything.

Of course, I'm a lensmaster and I get known, I can present my work about the meaning of dreams, I can get affiliates that will promote my ebooks, of course there is a promotional side, but I mainly created this lens because I could give lessons with the knowledge I acquired this summer, after reading and studying many Squidoo lenses.

You can find everything you need to know from Youtube and forums.

There is no easy way to learn SEO or IM. Take the advice of those recommending to read around this forum, its FREE and full of important and valuable information. It will not only save you money but a lot of headaches in the long run.

One thing that you should always keep in mind is that no matter which way you choose to take your IM career, you should always use what you learn as a guidance and not as a "thing to imitate". Too many people fail because they get frustrated if they invest in a product and it does not work exactly the same for them as it did for the creator. Remember, IM is constantly changing, that means that whatever worked for someone a year ago may not precisely work for you know.

Read, try different things, play around with tactics and create your own formula. Good Luck!

I couldn't agree more with the previous posts but consider video courses more than the e books and all the fluff and repetitive material that can be annoying unless there is a new E book teaching some new strategies.
