Do I need 301 redirects for this?

If I have links coming into my site to:

(A) www.domain.com
and
(B) www.domain.com/

Do I need a 301 redirect from B to A in order to hoard all the PageRank to a single URL?

And if so, how would I do this?

    I don't believe the slash is significant, a more common problem that is relevant is .www and no .www, I believe these can get ranked separately, one solution to minimize getting backlinked in both forms is to setup your server to consistently add the www or remove, your choice) so people bookmarking the displayed url will tend to get the same thing.
