Have any of you used PR Web?
Why or why not?
How much did you pay? It looks like 200 USD...
Where is your money better spent?
Is it worth the money?
Does Ezine compare or is it apples and oranges?

Thanks for your time, and I look forward to yout thoughts.

I have seen many gurus declare prweb as the definitive press release outlet.

They have levels of service from $80 to $360

Don't expect a press release distributed by a free service to be picked up by Google news.

I've seen other respectable paid services for about 1/2 as much.

I've certainly submitted before. I got some traffic from it and some keyword anchor text, but I don't think it will have anything but a short term impact at best, and you are not likely to see any kind of massive traffic flow. This is based on 4 submissions that I paid for including the lowest level and the highest level.

It is okay to contact me! I have been developing software since 1999, creating many popular products like phpLD.

I too would love to know the effect that the highest priced package had, compared to the other tiers. I have heard some great things, but wow, it's really expensive.

One of their sales reps contacted me numerous times about a monthly subscription, but I just thought they were too expensive. I would rather settle for some of the services offered here on the Warrior Forum.

I'v not used PR web before but needless to say, if you want to have any kind of real success with press releases, you have to output releases that are newsworthy, not self serving, "Hey look at me...." crap which will not get picked up by anyone.

If one were to use PR Web or a service like it, can you post articles too many times? What frequency of posting do people do?
