Help with shopping cart

Hi All

Can you give me any idea about this?

Well, the thing is I want to create an ecomerce site to sell phisical goods
and I'm unsure what to use: *oscommerce* *cubecart* or *zencart

Anyone used with that platforms could tell me if there are any
advantages,disvantages from one to other.

    Oscommerce has earned a bad rep lately due to lack of updates and security issues, so I would steer clear of that one.

      I use zencart for some of my projects. Its decent but has pretty big mysql load. You shouldnt see many problems with it unless you have over 50,000 items. The admin interface is a little scary if you have never used it before. Editting the title and other similar aspects of the site can be kinda time consuming.

      The good thing is there are zen cart forums that pretty much cover everything you will need to know. It also has some cool mods like seo and payment mods.

      I would stay away from oscommerce. I have not had to much experience with cubecart, but it looked pretty clean in the demo.

    I saw a mention of opencart.com recently; open source shopping cart software. Know nothing much about it, but thought it might be something to look at.

      I saw you are using Cubecart on 1 of your sites.
      Are you not happy with it?

      I'm just asking because you have not mentioned Cubecart on your post.
