I NEED MONEY HOW CAN I MAKE MONEY AS A WEBSITE (BLOG) DESIGNER...DESIGNING BLOGS FOR PEOPLE.

please house, I need money for my education as I am a student. I know how to set up blogs. This is a skill which I have acquired in my quest to make money from internet marketing, but unfortunately, I am now in school and my time table will not let me do things like market research and all that stuff...

How can I use this skill off line to make money from people. Please give me step by step

Where is this applicable...?

What kind of people will want a blog apart from internet marketer and how much can I charge?

How can I market this skill profitably?
I just want to set up blogs for people and recieve my money in time...

Please help. Thank you for your time... God bless1

The scheme used on Fiverr that might be saturated, is to offer to set up a blog for $5 providing they use a new host account of your choice, showing better sample templates might help you win, some big name hosts pay up to $100 affiliate commission.

Sorry, it's quite a huge leap from "I know how to set up blogs"... to "Blog Designer".

I can teach anybody in 10 minutes how to set up a blog - but it would take way longer (years?) to make you a "blog designer".

Maybe, clarifying for yourself what exactly your skills are - could be a step closer to find a way to earn money.

First, you need to find out who wants to buy a service like the one you want to offer. Then you need to find out exactly what those people will want you to do in exchange for the money.

What type of blogs will you set up?

Will the have any content or do you just plan to provide a blog template?

How do you plan to market your services to find customers?

How do you plan to get paid, especially if you are in a country that can't use Paypal or similar payment processors?

Answer these questions and you'll be able to start earning money.

I can suggest some client groups from my own experience:

      You may contact:

      1.Freelance writers

2.Local Shops and Businesses which don't have blogs or websites but might benefit from them.

3.Your friends and acquaintances who would like to start blogging

Now, making a blog and leaving the client puzzled about what to do next won't help in getting references.

Make hosting accounts, buy domains and manage everything for them.

You can even do simple SEO if needed. That way you will have a continuous stream of income from the existing blogs/sites.

      Hope I helped.
      Samir.

    Hi,

Signup will all freelancing websites out there, and then look out for projects related to blog desigining. But like they said you need to really be good at this type of job, but on freelancing websites you will find plenty of jobs related to blog design, etc. Check them out like scriptlance.com guru.com and see if you can really provide them with a good job, see if you really can deliver on what they are asking. I don't know how good or what skills exactly you have about blog design... but the more you know the better.

If you just know how to create a free blogger blog for example following the 3 simple steps and install a template, then probably you won't find much jobs you can do on freelancing websites.

Hi, I think this is what you mean: you can setup blogs on wordpress platform, a couple of plugins etc. I guess many people know about this and they do it themselves, at least here on WF. You have to go to freelance sites like odesk.com and list yourself as virtual assistant.

Blog set ups, plugin set ups, copy paste -these are all part of VA work. Set an hourly rate (set low for a newbie) like $5/hr.

You get paid according to your work hours and get paid through paypal/ bank/ mastercard etc.

You have to setup a good portfolio in order to get clients. Read this article for more info: Start your freelancing career with oDesk – An odesk review for beginners | BlogKori

Tamal makes a good point. Start at the beginning. Odesk is fine for that and you will get a better idea of your skill level versus the competition. You can check out the bio and experience of the other people bidding on the job and how much they have been paid in the past, etc.

    Cheers

    Hi there,

Your own blog idea mentioned above is a good one - you can make yourself a decent banner or button for your blog side bar saying something like "do you want a blog like this one" type thing - then you could focus some of your spare time in driving traffic to your blog and have that work as part of a portfolio for you. You can also put links on that blog to others that you have created and they will also showcase your talents.

Then as has also been suggested here post a WSO, or put your services up on Elance.com or Odesk - best of luck with it
