I think the apps field will be very hot in the coming year. If you can come up with a hot app you'd have a goldmine

  The apps field it's a hot niche right now. I'm starting to digg deeper in this subject. There are tons of freelancers that can develop great apps...

Most possibility many internet marketers will fight on that field and it opens larger profitable spaces less crowded in other niches. Well, I think we can not rely on the trend to keep the business running. I prefer going out of that track.

  The "dumb" phones will be on their way out - Nokia, Blackberry, Palm, etc. The remaining mobile "smartphone" platforms eg Android, Google, iPhone will battle for internet dominance. Marketers must adapt to the emerging technology.

mobile sites, mobiles sites, mobile sites!

but i dont know how yet. ive experimented with admob on the ppc side of things. got my WP blogs smart phone friendly with WPtouch plugin. drove buck loads of targeted traffic from ppl with smart phones to my sites for cheap,, but nothing.... a big fat resounding nothing

Okay so how exactly can you profit with these mobile sites? How can you make serious cash in the mobile industry WITHOUT creating apps?

P.S. And I don't mean a blog about mobile phones with adsense on the side.

I think it will continue to grow by leaps and bounds. Billions of people are online now and new people get online every day. The internet is a big part of so many lives. However, things could get really ugly if the US gov really tried to regulate the net. They have talked about this. So many people would lose money. I don't know how on earth they would do this though.
