Twitter Tweet Question

Hey,

I finally got twitter tweets to work ( so I thought ). How do you get your tweets to post on a regular basis? I have it schedualed to post every 30 minute and it's only ran a couple of times? How do I get it to tweet frequently?

On your website the 'Desalination' headline is missing an 'a.'

You also state "2025 one in 800 million will be living in absolute water scarcity." This is like 9 people.
I'm using twitterfeed, sorry. Yes, I'm trying to schedule with FeedForAll, and twitterfeed. I'm having a hard time getting TwitterFeed to work. I have it scheduled to look for RSS updates every 30 minutes, but I'm lucky if it will broadcast once per day. So, I'm doing it by hand with Ping.fm.

I'll fix the mispelling on desalination. and the statistics quote is from USGS.

Currently over 1 million live without potable drinking water. Out of the 15 cubic miles of potable water on earth, 1% is accessable. Of that, 1% is drinkable water. There is 3,100 cubic miles of accessible, potable water in the air. ( NOAA, USGS, National Water Foundation ). It may not seem like a large number, but it also depends on what the definition of potable is. In the US alone, over 100 million new chemicals are introduced as pharmaceuticals, food additives, etc., every year, WITHOUT FDA approval because there isn't enough staff or resources to test every single chemical that is produced. ( USGS, FDA ) These chemicals end up in our drinking water and pass inspection, filtration, etc. It's very scary.

Anyway, sorry for the water lesson. Yes, I do respond to people who tweet back as best as I can.

      TY again.

    Hi Dorothy,

I can see that you're using twitterfeed.

I'm not sure of their posting limit/threshold. I use socialoomph and they allow you to send tweets out up to but not exceeding 12 times per hour, so I can send 'em out every 5 minutes. Twitterfeed might adopt the same policy, I'm not sure.

I send out 1 tweet per hour. I also pop in throughout the day to respond, RT and engage. Nothing beats being a PERSON on twitter, you will generate far more interest in your opportunity by being a person.

    Hope this helps.

I believe there's an application that can help you post your tweets on schedule. This means you can tweet and then set it up to post again after a certain duration of time. It's beneficial if you have lots of followers who may have looked over your tweets because of their other followers' tweets.

Try TweetSpinner, and their unique way of making your Tweets more dynamic, and you'll find that you can bypass a lot of the threshold issues.

That's exactly what I'm trying to do. I'm trying to promote awareness of humidity as a viable, economic means to supply water, as well as sell systems. I'm using FeedForAll at this time to schedule and update my RSS feed. If you have better ideas with a mac, please let me know.
