Logged onto clickbank, and saw their new terms and conditions.

I read them and they seemed similar to their previous ones, but is there anything new in them, which they have added?

anything which is a major change? and any benifits/or disadvantages to the previous terms?

I am going to bump this up, as I was wondering the same thing.

    Thanks for the discussion.

I'm not 100% sure, but I think it's this one...

So if you promote a bogus product you can go to court?

So why are these bogus products still on CB? I know there is lots of junk there.

This suddenly makes me think of this **** berry affiliate who got sued for making false claims, I've heard.

That's one of the reasons I am so reluctant to promote CB products unless I know the owner personally or have used/bought the product myself. The quality of many CB products is below acceptable standards.

I think that one is primarily in reference to vendors using testimonials that state "non-typical" results (ie Joe Blow made $140,000 in 3 days using my product). If a vendor uses testimonials like that, they have to have a disclaimer that states that those results are not typical.

Of course, I guess this could apply to affiliates as well, if they make these types of claims on their presell pages.

I expect CB is doing CYA on new disclaimer requirements. As usual, CB is a bit late to the party....:p

Dear April: I don't want any trouble from you.
January was long, February was iffy, March was a freaking dumpster fire.
So sit down, be quiet, and don't touch anything.

Thats just wrong in my opinion.

Clickbank should be the ones who are responcible and liable for the products they have in there market place.

Rather than tell us there has been a change made, why doesn't CB simply post what that change is and save their thousands of affiliate and vendors a little time and confusion?

I got this message from them as well that a change has been made and I never figured out what that change was...

Or at least color code the changes or make references to the sections near the top. I wasn't sure what had changed either.
