Default Frank Kern's copy for Tony Robbins

Here it is: Tony Robbins tells you how to take control of your finances

Frank says he wrote the copy in 30 seconds, and it isn't his best.

But I thought it is pretty stellar for a 30 seconds work, don't you think so?

If he said he wrote it in 30 seconds then he ought to be in the Guiness Book of World Records, because that's typing at 622 words per minute - and that doesn't include ANY proofreading, editing or ormatting.

A bit of an overstatement. And for what purpose?

All the best,
Michael

Johnson,

That is a pretty good opt-in page for 30 seconds. All the key elements of an opt-in page are in there. Short, bullet points, good headline...only one problem:

In the audio, Tony Robbins says, just drop your email in the box above. But the opt-in box is actually below his picture/audio.

Just an aside -- Tony Robbins should be getting some traffic on the site, because he mentioned the URL on Larry King Live last night.

LOL... Frank forgot the "above-the-fold" rule when it comes to positioning the opt in box to get highest opt ins. But, it was smart of him to request for an email only. I heard it improves conversion

Thanks Michael.

30 seconds?

Maybe 3 minutes.

He even starts it by talking about "bad news".

Had I saw that right from the start and not scanned it, I would've held to my new no "bad news" policy and closed the page.

It's got all the right elements.

I wonder how much he got paid to write that?

I can dig it...it's straight and to the point.

I don't think it's one of Franks more complex
masterpieces but I'm certain it will do the trick.

I think he said he wrote it with about 30 seconds notice. Meaning he had no real time to prepare but I'm sure he spent some time to actually write the copy hehe

30 seconds??? Well he couldn't have written that copy for Tony Robbins in 30 seconds. But we all know Frank Kern......Hype man.

He said that for hype's sake!

Did Frank write that for Tony, or as an affiliate of Tony's new product? There is a difference.

I believe it was for Tony himself - doing a whois on the domain name 'TonyRobbinsEconomy.com', which redirects to that exact page, says the domain was registered by some Mike Koenigs cat.

Visiting MikeKoenigs.com shows that he's an Internet Marketer but there's also a video of Tony talking about this Mike character... and a photo of Mike, Frank and Tony at some cafe.

What surprised me is the download page is presented after you give your email address but before you do the email confirmation with Aweber.

Anyone can receive the audio files without actually doing the double optin! Just don't confirm, and you won't be in Tony's list.

I did confirm because I want to see how he is marketing online.

That makes a big difference.

It's just that it was humanly impossible to actually write it that quickly, even with voice recognition software.

However, if he had short notice and wrote it off the top of his head, then no problem. Sometimes the gut feeling type of copy can do better than the "experts" would expect.

All the best,
Michael
