"intitle- inanchor"......

Hello warriors!

May I know how important is the "intitle,inanchor" technique in sizing your competitors? Are they really vital that without doing them can affect our ranking?

If I found a keyword phrase with quotes that have low competitions e.g 15,000 with quotes, do I still need to check for their "intitle,inanchor" before I consider those keywords viable? I am in the midst of new project and need your kind opinions. Thanks a lot

    If you have a 15 k competition then intitle is not important because I'm sure it will only be 100-200. inanchor is nice to know but intitle is what I use to gauge a keyword.
    When I hit a phrase with 10k+ searches a month and an intitle count of less than 10k I'm usually on to some gold.
