How Many of you work systematically? What are your tools? Can you share them?

I personally love making drafts when i get lazy. I then jot down ideas, create mindmaps and just write what's on my mind on a constant brainstorm.

Then after doing it. I just hit it. I time myself. get my deadline sheet and cross out tasks that i finished. It is very rewarding.

My tools are: mindmapping, egg timer, sketchpad plus mindjet (online mindmapping tool)

I also write down my tasks the night before and time them. Most of the time I finish on time.

Try TeuxDeux. It's a to-do list style organizer, really simple to add and check off, and keeps you very organized.

If you don't keep up with things, they pile up and TeuxDeux gets mad at you.

    Great service, I love it.

I send out an e-mail action plan each day to support people in my life (my business coach, etc.) with what I will do for myself and my business.

I keep track of how much time I spend on activities and how much immediate revenue I get each day.

I also outsource many of my e-mail, graphics, basic writing, and web maintenance tasks to virtual assistants.

My Blackberry and paper planner also keep me on track with personal and business appointments.

I keep track of everything I spend money-wise and strive to keep business and personal expense records as separate as possible.

    Great topic!

The reason I ask is this I guess a part of being systematic is being in the best position in a system doing what you love most -- this is later on, once everything is in place.

I run an office with 3 managers and several employees and my main task is to do the marketing and overall direction.

I do what you do. Wake up. delegate. go train them in the afternoon (for new projects) I've taught them how to be independent, so one-time training on the managers and they'll handle everything. Then i go back to what i do best
