Did Facebook Just eliminate the Fan Landing page option?

Hello,

It looks like my non-fans are landing on the "info" page on all of my Facebook Fan Pages, and I don't see the option to specify a different landing page any more.

...as of 30 minutes ago!

Is that something new?

I think they did. In the help center they say how to do it, but it doesn't seem updated. However, just look how many crappy scammy landing page their is. It is really smart to change it, thank you Facebook. We don't need that much crap.

They are rolling out a new layout today for the Fan Pages. I am not a fan of the change.

I saw that too, another thig i've heard is they're switching over to iframes and moving away from fbtml

This is a big mistake for them. The ability to specify a default landing page for non-fans has played a big factor in the success of said fan pages.

  IMHO, I see this as a positive (as well) being that FB seems to be moving in the direction that TomorrowNet users are moving.
  
  FBplaces coupled with FBdeals, (and NEC and QR codes) is a major advancement towards better integrating local with online/digital. Those that can think outside of the proverbial box will find innovative ways to capitalize on this.
  
  Although some might see this as a negative for digital goods vendors/affiliates; IMHO it makes things a little more personal in that we'll just need to move our styles to a more intimate type of approach. I think this is a good thing because intimacy breeds loyalty; which is (supposed to be) every Netrepreneur's end goal, anyway... right?

They are also getting rid of FBML and switching to a Java solution for Fan Pages starting next year. If you currently build fan pages using FBML you may not be able to load them to FB at this point.
