Any one else suffered from Seminar Fever

Hi there.
I would love to hear from anyone out there that has caught Seminar Fever.
I recently went to one and signed up for a course, only to find out it wasn't what I thought it was.... I'm a complete newbie and this is for people who already have a business and want to expand it and of course I'm having a battle royal to get my money back. I used my credit card and was wondering if anyone has any advise to offer on how I go about getting a refund. I think it's very naughty not to offer this when people are in a blind buying situation.
The lady who offers this course offers refunds on other products but is categorically refusing my request.
Any thoughts please ????

Rule number 1 - Avoid internet marketers who make the majority of their income through "coaching".

Rule number 2 - Be sure if you do attend seminars that you network with the audience. In my experiences, the best advice you get is from old mate sitting beside you. Not the knob selling from stage.
