    Does your Awstats show Robot visits also? Adsense will not count those.

    If I see that a heck of a lot of the "links from an external page" addies in hostgator awstats are from obviously other IM site / domainers / backlinkers just by the fact that they're all obviously keyword targeted domains, does this mean I'm being targeted on some backlinking list? (Not getting many comments to have to delete on this particular site, so it's a mystery what's going on.)

    Does it have to do with the fact that my domains are add-ons to another? (i.e. are backlinkers following some route that leads from an original domain to other addons.)

    Does it mean that it's not real traffic (I guess mostly not) unless it's coming from the "search engine" links section above?

    Is there anything I can do about this? Should I be worried? Is it connected with public domain registrations? Would people recommend making these private?

    Many questions - sorry for that. Anyone's inkling of an idea on any of the above would be most welcomed.

      It is nice to see the traffic stats, but if you are running an adsense site, the only figure that counts is money in your account.

      If you are going to flip your domain, the buyer will want to see your URL channel earnings report, and they will not care so much what your awstats is saying. Unless, they are really way off from each other on a long term basis.

      Not to be silly here, but the stats are run by two different companies who have their own way of counting things. Adsense impressions don't even really count unless you are getting a really low CTR. Then it is time to change your content.

    I never see awstat. It's full of spam traffic. Use Google Analytics

    Thanks for taking the time to share!

    35 unique visits per day is nice but, to really be effective with adsense your doing to have to build upon that. With adsense you need really big traffic numbers to make a decent amount from it now a days. It's like the click through rates are getting lower & lower everyday.

    Work more on boosting qualitly highly related traffic && you will see more adsense click throughs.
