help: How do I link my affiliate link to my buy now button?

Hi I got a buy now button and I'm trying to paste it into wordpress, but when I put the long affiliate link in url box for the button and click on it, it doesnt work. can someone please help me do this?

Try uploading buy now button image to your server & then link it with a simple HTML code. If you want more help, let me know.

If you are linking it as an image link pointing to your offer, then just add the following code where you want it to appear:

<a href="http://yoursite.com/youhoplink/" rel=nofollow"><img src="http://yoursite.com/yourimage.gif" alt="Your Anchor Text"></a>

Essentially, this links your image through your hoplink if it is in a redirect folder to cloak it.

No after the first = in above "thebitbotdotcom" reply code. The one you are talking will have a link to your uploaded image not your affiliate url.

This is what you are wanting right here.

the href= part is your affiliate link which is where you want someone to go when they click on your image and the img scr= part is the location of the image you want to use.

This is exactly what you are wanting and it can't be made any easier than what was posted for you here.

By using FTP.

Your webhost should have provided those details when you signed up with them. Just use a program like FileZilla to transfer your image to the server your site is hosted on.

i know how to upload an image using cpanel. like I open my file for the site....i go to my wordpress theme folder then I go to the image folder...but like what I name the image and then how do I get it to appear where I want it to on the site

Sorry you wrote this while I was writing the other post for you, now you have told you use Cpanel so just login to your file manager & upload the image to public_html folder. No need to go to themes folder. (name it as buynow.gif or buynow.jpg or buynow.png or whatever format it is). It will be accessible as yourdomainname.com/buynow.gif & now you can use the code that "thebitbotdotcom" replied with above. Do not forget to change the links.

Your affiliate link should consist of http so you just need to replace the a href="your affiliate link here" in that code.
