WTB: DVD and Book Packaging / Printing

Hey Warriors,

I knew this would be the place to come for this advice. My question to you, is what companies are available which meet the qualifications of being

a) high quality

b) low cost

I'd like it to be in that order. to me, quality means more than a low price point - but at the same time, the best value I can get for my customers is crucial.

The services I need are book printing and dvd and cd authoring / printing and packaging.

Thanks in advance for your help warriors.

    The best place is createspace.com
They are part of the amazon group. They will do all the customer service stuff for you.

If you want to go more independent then you can use kunaki.com

I would use CreateSpace.com for book printing and Kunaki.com for producing CDs and DVDs.

Both provide high-quality products at reasonable to cheap prices.

CreateSpace provides a little more hand holding than Kunaki.

I would use Vervante. They do both cd/dvd and printed materials, their prices are reasonable and the quality is good and consistent. You will get a lot more help and personalization from these guys than you would with a service like Kunaki who offer no customer support at all. They also have no minimum orders like some of the other companies do - you can ship one by one.

Their service also integrates seamlessly with some shopping carts like 1SC so you don't have to do anything, the orders are filled automatically for you. They also offer net billing which means you are only invoiced for your orders every 30 days which means you have time to collect the money from those orders before you have to pay for them. With places like Kunaki you need to pay before the order is shipped - hard to do with big quantities.

If you are interested in finding out more about pricing, etc just PM me and I will give you the email address of the best person to contact.

There are also places like Disk.com but unless you are doing big quantities, they are going to sting you on price. They are for more established sellers dealing in big quantites. I did a fair amount of price and quality research when I was getting setup, I ordered products from different places and got quotes on similar jobs and for me, Vervante was the one that had the best price/quality ratio.

It's very much a case of you get what you pay for. Yes, Kunaki is cheap, but they offer NO customer service or support at all and the quality is not consistent.
