This is actually old news, I just ran across this FTC report from August 2010

Court Orders Internet Marketers of **** Berry Weight-Loss Pills and "Colon Cleansers" to Stop Deceptive Advertising and Unfair Billing Practices

"Ads Feature Phony Endorsements Attributed to Oprah Winfrey, Rachael Ray...
At the request of the Federal Trade Commission, a U.S. district court has ordered the marketers of **** berry supplements, “colon cleansers,” and other products to temporarily halt an Internet sales scheme that allegedly scammed consumers out of $30 million or more in 2009 alone"

Seems that the FTC (finally) took action after the Better Business Bureau received more than 2,800 complaints about the company.

I hear **** Berry is pretty much over now, it apparently was one of the types of products that got 1000s of Adwords advertisers permanently banned by Google in a shocking purge.

What caught my attention was the **** Berry advertisement video that started playing on the FTC page, as if they were hacked, turns out if was just an exhibit of the offenders technique.
