Default Wordpress themes that actually work for IM?

I have been using the cutline wordpress theme and it's just not cutting it anymore.

Any good recommendations for wordpress themes that are suitable for Internet marketing sites that work well with all the new widgets?

Especially looking for one that shows Category hierarchy properly. (like a indented list)

I have one at The Diary Of An Internet Marketer that I really like and have had a ton of comments on from people liking the theme - it is a free one so should have the link at the bottom

Hi Rob,

If you go to Free Tools and Tips- Internet Marketing Resources you can download five free templates that normally go for $40-50. They're very polished, web 2.0 looking. Great for IM.

Enjoy!

Shezz,

The Diary Of An Internet Marketer theme is very simple. The placement of the ads is optimal. I heard that down the right side is the best place to have your ads.

Hi Rob.

I use the Cutline them and am quite happy wth it. One of the cleanest looking ones around in my opinion.

Re. Indented Category list - mine does that (I just tested it) and I don't think I've got any special plugins or anything enabled to allow me to do it ....

Have you seen the Flexibility theme?? It's awesome, extremely versatile and customizable all done through the theme options panel. I use it on one of my sites, www.handsfreesites.com; on Dana Willhoit's site, www.thepressreleasesite.com; Dan McGonagle's, www.danielmcgonagle.name ...just to name a few

I use to have cutline as well... before I got hacked.

It's excellent for seo, BUT... very hard to use. Never seen a more complicated wordpress theme than cutline.

However, search engines love it.

I'm searching for a new theme as well, so I will review the one you posted above, thanks.

I'm really liking the Flexibility Theme Flexibility Theme for WordPress

It has a built in page to adjust the look of most of the theme easy

here is an example a friend of mine did. Recipes For Detox Diet I like how the capture names form is right on top

I also like the free version of the wordpress premium theme.
Free “WP Premium” Theme is here | free premium wordpress theme, wordpress cms, custom wordpress template, paid wordpress theme, wordpress revolution, wordpress theme revolution
I use that on my home blog and the flexibility on some other blogs.

What version are you using? I have 2.1 and the child categories are not indenting at all.

Why not try a theme from Revolution Two?

Quality Press Releases (fee starts at $50, I also offer manual PR distribution)

The guys over at ithemes are putting out some real good wordpress themes. They are using a new type of coding that allows you to manipulate the sidebar locations etc.. visually. Very cool stuff.

How can a theme be hard to use? They are all installed the same way, posting is the same, and so on.

V1.3 I think.

I did try upgrading to a later version and hated it, so I went back to a previous one that I had modified and was happy with.

Doesn't the Category list get indented from having the parent-child relationship? and not some plug-in

Nope... Cutline is different. The CSS has been modified.

Try to Add a new page, a sitemap, etc...

There's almost always something going wrong. Chris made a lot of modifications to his theme, and that's why it's different than others.

Cutline is like a boosted seo blog (I think it could be paid). I've made thousands of dollars from this cutline blog, because I could easily get the on the first page for truckloads of affiliate products (often in a matter of hours) in highly competitive niches.

I've had other themes, and they have nothing to see compared to cutline in term of management.

Heck. look at this... just simple tasks in other wordpress blogs, if you have 5 minutes:

Bottomline, it's better to outsorurce if you want a cutline.
