New to Forum. Best Way to get Started?

INTERNET MARKETING

Hi I'm new to the forum but I have been following the forum for a while trying to get tips and advice on how to market goods from Clickbank so that I can make a little money to take me through university. A couple of years ago I used to make some money from Google Adwords but after they changed it to having a landingpage I have really struggled. So is their any advice or perhaps a course that could help me start up websites and marketing them well to make some money from promoting goods.

Welcome to the Warrior Forum.

First things first I would recommend you add a signature to your profile. Even if you're not promoting a product yet, add your blog details etc.

I think the Warrior Forum can be a little overwhelming for newbies and for those new to the site as there is so much information and it's hard to know where to start.

I would recommend you block few hours out and have a notepad and pen and take your time going through the posts, learning etc.

You will be swamped with so many products/offers to buy and I would be patient and take your time.

The fact that you've already achieved making money from Google Ad's is great. Check out the SEO threads on here and see what others think.

  I totally agree with Lilach. It's very important to build up your online profile because this is what determines your professional image. I also strongly recommend you to add a profile picture. these are little details which matter, yet are easily overlooked. When it comes to marketing it's extremely important to build up your public image and professional reputation.

There are so many things in this World that people are willing to purchase. It really is amazing. Here on warrior I like to think that people are giving you examples of what they do, but really the brilliance can come from you (and you have that brilliance!). You need to take inventory of your knowledge. Most likely there is something where you know a lot about it. Think of the sites you surf. Then think about how people are already making money on those sites. There is going to be a really good match for you.

Then you just need to plant some good seeds. It can take months, but start setting up a site or two or three. Focus on quality, so you can make something that is long lasting.

It took me a few years, but I will never have to work a day job ever again, and mostly I do this because I like what I do. It should be this way for everyone.

yep, find Alexa's list of 10 criteria for selecting a CB product.... great starting point. Especially the one about contacting the seller before even considering promoting their product.

at some point you'll be exposed to the Warrior Special Offer section which is full of tempting offers.

Don't be tempted.

Come up with a plan (ask questions here if necessary) of *exactly* what you'd like to achieve (more specific than "a little money to take me through college", plus of course you'll also need to know exactly what you're willing to put in (hours e.g., startup finance etc. Example: do you want to write your own content or pay others to do it for you?)).

Then go out and seek specific answers to those questions, and if necessary, buy specific courses or find yourself a mentor to help you along.

When you ask for "some advice", you'll get plenty of advice, and much of it will look good and tempting and before you know it, you buy course after course and never really build anything.

Just stay a little bit longer maybe days,weeks or months and I tell you will come
to discover a lot of hot things you can do on this forum.

My advice is that when you see them,just be focused as you are going to get a flood
of them.

  (Yes -- it sounds daunting -- but luckily, fellow Warrior Kevin Riley can help)
  
  Honestly, in the long run, making your own stuff is more fun. And you get to keep all the dough. And when you get confident enough, you can start your own affiliate programme!
