In short, what are the niches that are profitable and people are consistently looking for? I mean the real big ones.

IM?
Weight Loss (health)
Self-Improvement
Real Estate

    I think the 3 BIG ones are:

    -Health, people will pay anything to find solutions,"cure" for their health problems.

    -Wealth(Make Money), millions of people are in debt in the world and in URGENT need to find ways to make more money!

    -Relationships, let's face it...everyone wants love and millions of people will pay anything to find love!

    ...another super HOT niche market is... finding ways to get traffic to your website!

    But there are many more...

    -Video games    (Strategy guides,etc.)
    -Self Improvement
    -Pets
    -Foreclosures

    ...and so on!

    Among those that you have mentioned, Real Estate is the most profitable one, with high paying keywords for PPC. Other most profitable niches are electronics, free softwares, you can google up 'highest paying keywords' and you will get the most profitable niche keywords. Take a look and have your say about it.
