First commission since I came back to IM.
After a long break away from IM I came back round November the 11th.
It took me a week to build and produce the content for my first site, and my second site followed a few days later.
I'm up to 6 with 2 more ready to be created.
So I log in to Amazon today as I usually do and see 2 sales yielding a commission of just over 8 bucks. 1 item I promoted, the other for a kindle book completely unrelated to anything I sell.
Now 8 bucks is nothing - and I'm not going to be putting a down payment on a porsche anytime soon - but I'm excited because that 8 bucks to me represents the start of my road to success.
The site the sale came from isn't ranked anywhere for it's main keyword yet, has low single figure traffic per day but it has done what I wanted and converted a visitor to a sale. I'll start working on getting ranked for my main term.
Of course this could all be a fluke, but given my past successes my gut feeling is that it isn't ( plus I'm also following Jan Roos's system so I knew it should work, even though I suffered from self doubt from time to time that I could make it work for me - of course actually taking action gave me a much greater chance of success
