Hey Warriors!

I'd venture to say that a good many of you recently, have received
or will receive an email from JeremyBurns.com about a rebill for SCGM v7.
Of course, that's if you purchased the product.

When I saw this, I was quite puzzled. I didn't recall anything "recurring"
in the original sales page. So, I replied to the email about the new charge
to my credit card. Here's an excerpt from the reply from them...

SCGM v7 was only a one time payment not a recurring payment. Please let me explain what has happened. When we setup our shopping cart for SCGM v7 we took a shortcut and just copied the shopping cart product from SCGM v6 rather than starting from scratch. In SCGM v6 however we did have that sale automatically rolling into a discounted subscription to NakedPLR.com for $19.97 a month. When we copied that product for the SCGM v7 sale we totally forgot about v6 including a recurring product. Today the cart attempted to rebill 374 SCGM v7 customers including yourself for that recurring payment. We did catch this error before any funds were actually debited from your credit card, and the order was voided. That being the case the charge will never actually remove any funds from your cards account, but none the less this was a huge error on our part and we sincerely apologize. Again though, no funds were debited from your account and you can disregard the billing email notice you received earlier today.
This goes to show that sometimes taking a shortcut in your
internet/information marketing business is NOT the best thing to do.
Always TEST your processes before you "go live".

All that being said, I'm very happy with my purchase, and am glad
that they got this all straightened out. I also just blogged about this
over at the Extra Cash Systems Weblog...

Be Well!
ECS Dave

Don't be too hard on Jeremy - Google did a lousy cut and paste job on the EULA for Google Chrome which automatically gave them ownership of everything you ever did on the net! Soon sorted, but even the best funded businesses are guilty of short cuts.

    They are correcting the issue

    Yes this was a mistake.

Yes they already know about it and are taking action to correct it.

I noticed the re-bill email and on my bank statement as I was a buyer of SCGMV7 as well and contacted them as I had not authorized it.

What happened was that they copied the settings from SCGMV6 which had a $19 back end recurring offer on it. They forgot to remove that.

Needless to say when they saw the $19 transactions coming through they found the mistake.

They replied to my support ticket stating that they had voided the transactions.

However, my account was billed so I emailed them back asking them to double check since voids only work before a settlement time on the day of the charge.

I am sure they are either voiding or refunding the transactions.

This is a good and honest company that would not purposefully do this and of course they will reverse the charge.

If you have any questions I suggest you contact them for billing support.

The WF ain't going to handle it for you so when you see a billing issue with a company you are doing business with contact them first ;-)

Josh, I hope you weren't commenting on my post. I was referring to Google, not Jeremy.

      WoW Josh!

From someone who really needs glasses to read anything in less than 12pt script!

I had to take the glasses off to read your post!
It really was in my face! so to speak. So, friendly advice, edit the post so others don't get it in their face, but do get the point without being pointed at, so to speak.

Nope. Just in general. you know how these threads go... people might be tempted to forget where to go for customer service ;-)

Glad you didn't miss it. The size was on purpose so it would get noticed. Fast and easy way to put this thread to sleep without others needing to worry.
