Need help for selling on Facebook.

Merry Christmas to you all,

Me and my wife have recently decided to start selling handmade crafts and arty stuff on Facebook.

We have created a 'business page', but have trouble adding people as 'friends' to the page. put simply, we need to raise awareness of our facebook business.

As most facebook users may already know, 'user' page is different to 'business' or 'group' pages. Since I am starting a business, I am therefore creating a 'business' page.

however with 'business pages', you cannot 'add' people as 'friends', so creating awareness is a little hard.


does anybody here have experience with facebook in this matter?

how can I effectively raise awareness for my business page and ultimately grow the number of 'friends' and 'fans'?

is there an app? is there an easy or simple method? thank you!!!

    Why not just open a personal page for the busienss if you'd like to add friends?

      Yeah that is always an option.

      however personal pages cannot allow business names. it only allows to show 'real' name as oppose to a business name, which is unfavorable.

      Because Facebook does not allow this. Personal pages are for a person.

    You can raise awareness by:

    Writing articles about your handmade crafts niche.

    Running a blog focused on the niche.

    Attract friends/followers. Become good at what you do, people find you and some will want to buy what you have to offer. All because you attracted them with your expertise.
